Introducing Shōgun meant opening the doors to an entire world, one defined by political power, cultural collision, and historical scale, while ensuring audiences had an emotional way into the story. With a series performed almost entirely in Japanese and few recognizable faces for Western viewers, the campaign needed to lean into spectacle while creating narrative accessibility.

We built a trailer arc that moved between sweeping geopolitical tension and intimate character stakes, framing the series as both a prestige television event and a deeply human historical drama.

As the campaign’s first global expression, the trailer established the series’ tonal gravity and visual ambition, and paved the way for the multi-platform assets to come.
